Update MacBook

Have a MacBook running macOS High Sierra 10.13.6. That was purchased in 2018. Which update should I use Monterey or Mojave to update with. And is there problems I should be aware of.

Thanks

Monterey and Ventura are your best bets for compatibility with modern applications. Apple has said that they will release Sonoma this fall.
