Why does the Mac Music app (version 1.3.6) does not copy my iTunes (now 'Music') Playlists to my iPhone?

This has worked for years when iTunes was the kitchen sink of all Apple media.

Now with the 'Music" app, all of my playlists never transfer to my iPhone.

There is only 1 Playlist there that seems to record any album that I may listen to 1 song on that album.

It makes no sense.

Synching playlist from ITunes to Ipad Is it no longer possible to sync my purchased songs playlists from iTunes to my iPad if I DO NOT have an Apple Music subscription? I’m noticing playlists are no longer synching when connecting IPad to ITunes on my PC. I’m having to go in to the music app on my iPad and manually add purchased songs to a playlist or create a new playlist if I create the playlist in ITunes.

Transferring playlists from iTunes to Apple Music I have just bought a new laptop and installed Apple Music on it. Having done this, my old iTunes app has virtually been wiped clean apart from Podcasts but, annoyingly, none of my old playlists have been transferred over and only a handful of the original songs and albums are showing. Both my iPhone and iPad were transferred over successfully from iTunes to Apple Music. Can anyone help please?
