iOS 17 Missing Signal Icons

I recently upgraded to iOS 17, and the Wi-Fi and cellular symbols are no longer visible on the home screen. The symbols are only visible when I open an app or swipe down from the top. I don't think this is a Verizon-specific issue, and I'm assuming it's related to the iPhone 14 Pro/Pro Max or iPhone 15 format. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max, and this new UI change is a major inconvenience. I'm wondering if anyone else is having the same issue

If you see an SOS, then it means your cellphone can’t detect a network. You should call your cellular network and ask them to activate your phone. My iPhone 15 Pro Max had the same issue when I switched over to it from my iPhone 12 Pro Max. The phone didn’t activate correctly.

The issue in the original thread question is for people who don’t see any WiFi or cellular symbols while on their Home Screen after the update to iOS 17. If you see the SOS then the symbols should be showing correctly. One way to check if your symbols are showing correctly would be to connect to WiFi. Does the WiFi symbol show up?
