iPhone 14 pro Bricked with IOS 17

So I seen IOS 17 had came out so I downloaded it, nothing unusual. It was done downloading so It powered off and I thought it was doing its normal thing which would be turning off then updating with the Apple logo on screen. At first I didn’t notice but the phone had stayed black for a pretty long time so eventually I tried force restart, DFU, and iTunes and nothing would power on the phone. It bricked. 30 minutes of me talking to Apple support then the phone showed the Apple logo. It updated the first half then shut off and bricked again. Another 30 minutes pass by and the Apple logo appears and finishes the download and now it works just like normal. My question is, what happened to my phone?
