AirDropped Photo Media dates not transfering to MacBooks

This is not a question. I am only sharing how far I have gotten in this ongoing nightmare that many of us seem to suddenly have with AirDrop screwing around with media creation dates not showing in FInder after uploads. I have been using AirDrop for years to transfer files to my MacBook via Bluetooth with NO PROBLEM. Suddenly, all Airdropped photos sent to my MacBook show date downloaded as Dates Modified and Dates Created instead of the dates the photos were taken!!! Why? The following is a list of what I have discovered after hours of research so far:

(1) Even though the original date and time of the photo is not showing in FInder, it IS transfering with the photos...only burried. As evidence, when you open the photo using Preview, if you go to Tools > Show Location Info, you will find that the original metadata of time and date in each photos HAS BEED PRESERVED! So why is Finder not reflecting this? Somehow, date of file creation on the MacBook is being split from the Metadata in the transfer. Why? We don't know...or, we're not being told.

(2) Like many, I thought I found the solution with that little "Options>" button right before you hit AirDrop...you know...the one with that reveals the "All Photos Data" slider? Yeah, it turns itself off after you turn it on. And even when it stays in the 'On' position, the AirDropped photo still does not show original media capture date in Finder. So, no, that does not resolve the problem.

(3) To add complexity to the problem (or so it seems), Airdropped photos from my ipad were suddenly presenting the SAME problem as photos Airdropped from my iphone. Something strange is afoot here.

(4) I have scoured all Camera settings, Photos settings, Privacy settings and Accessibility settings on my devices to no avail.

(5) However, I went back into my files from a month prior and noticed this was not happening a month ago, not with my iphone and not with my ipad. All original media capture dates were showing in the Finder Created and Modified filename dates! So I tested something...I Airdropped from Mac to Ipad and the original media date was retained from MacBook to iPad! So I then took that fresh transfer of the old photo and RE-AirDropped it back to my MacBook from the iPad. The original Media Date was intact! So whatever is happening to photos now is something new that is creating a sort of 'split' or dead-ending of the meta-data being passed on to new devices as the Date Created and Date Modified. The metadata is NOT being erased, it is just being buried in the "new" file of the original photo.

So the question I asked myself? What did I change or what has changed over the past month to my devices? Hmm. Nothing that "I" did, and certainly nothing I did to BOTH devices to produce the same problem. That's when I realized...wait a minute....what HAS occurred several times since August were flippin' IOS UPDATES. This is the only thing that has changed on my devices...
