That phone cannot update to iOS 16 or higher.

Tap Settings > General > Software Update

IF.....an update is available for your old phone.....it will appear.

If you see a message that your phone is already up to date.....there are no more updates for the iPhone 7 Plus.

But I'm pretty sure that the iPhone 7 Plus will never be able to update to iOS 16, 17, or 18. iOS 15 is the end of the line. If you want to run iOS 17 (or 18, when it comes out), you will need to get a newer iPhone.

iPhone 7 Plus cannot run iOS 16 or iOS 17, if that is what you are asking about.

iOS 15.7.9 is the end of the road for the iPhone 7 Plus.

It is impossible to update the iPhone 7 Plus to iOS 16 or iOS 17.

The iPhone 7 Plus does not have the "horsepower" needed to run anything higher than iOS 15.

As already mention above, the iPhone 7plus cannot run ios16

You may have tried to use some UPI payment app, only to find out that you must now be running iOS 17 or higher to make or receive UPI payments on an iPhone.

The iPhone 7 Plus is not compatible with iOS 17. Therefore, you cannot use it to make, or receive, UPI payments. The people who make the rules for the UPI payment system could have allowed UPI payment apps to run on your phone, but decided not to do so. If you want to keep using the UPI payment system, the only thing you can do is to get another phone.
