NHL App broken

The NHL App on my iPhone does not receive news updates and many of the links (like Individual Tickets)return what appears to be a bogus “OOPS Error404” with a button labeled “Homepage”. Selecting that button takes you to a page with a popup telling you to follow a three step process to “verify” your account. This is a scam that asks for credit card info. The popup is from alltopcontent.com or showsports.com. I have removed the app and reinstalled it, reset the phone, cleared data in Safari and it is still working this way. My wife’s phone is doing the same on that app. Any ideas on how to fix this?
