A friend has told me a better way to load iPad User Guide to the iPad to be viewed when not connected on line. Go to iBook (free), if you have it. Do a search for "iPad User Guide" and download it to the iPad. It's that simple.
Yes, thats the easier way, but since you wrote "Can I download the iPad User Manual from Apple to the iPad?" I was assuming you like to access the manual directly to the iPad without using a computer.
• If you say "download", i means the action is done by the device it self without involving other equipment.
• If you say "UPLOAD", i means the action (getting the file) is done by an other device and then uploaded to the iPad.
So, I got you wrong… but now you know at least different way to accomplish your goal 🙂
