Post updating to iOS17 on iPhone 14 Pro, I was able to create a poster but when I try to access it, after opening my contact card, under Contact Photo & Poster it says "Disabled" and I can't tap it to access it!

This happened to me yesterday. But today, when I opened the phone App, it asked me to choose who can see my contact poster (I chose contacts only) and now the Contact Poster is activated. If you just downloaded iOS 17, give it a while or open the phone app and see if it prompts you to choose anything.

I also saw a Reddit thread where someone said they disabled iMessage and FaceTime on other devices that were using a different phone number and after that the Contact Poster "Disabled" message disappeared and it started working again.
Not sure what the issue is, some people are saying it might be happening if you have more than one phone number associated to your Apple ID! if that's the case, did Apple really not take that into consideration? a bit odd to be honest
Indeed. I use my iPhone as a dualsim phone... Having iMessage on both numbers and using the contact poster seems to be impossible...
Hopefully they will fix it in a future update
I have update the software on iPhone 14 max after which Contacts bar buttons (calls, video, messages) have become disabled
