I have restarted my iPhone, restarted Apple TV, but now that I upgraded to iOS 17.0 The Apple Remote feature from iPhone no longer works. It has worked just fine for years, but now it does not.
Same for me. After I upgraded to iOS 17.0.1 on my iphone 14 pro and tvOS17 on my apple TV I can not connect the remote control app on my iphone to apple TV. In the control center there is an other control whitch is working, I can see the currently playing program. The problem only exist if the apple TV connected to the network with ethernet cable. If I unpluge the cable and connect it with wifi everithing is working fine. So I think this is a bug in iOS 17 or tvOS 17
Update - tried rebooting everything and now working again…but got a while nothing worked (that is - Rente using iPhone 14 Pro)
Same here and Apple support can’t resolve. I’ve called them multiple times.
My friends and I were talking about this. We reset and restart. Temporary fix and then it stops
I plugged by Apple TV into a new tv. My iPhone 15 pro max remote will not work now.
