What is the keyboard shortcut to eject a connected device (my iPhone) that is not showing up in sidebar or on desktop?

The connection between my XR phone (16.6.1) & my 2015 laptop (Monterey 12.6.9) is wonky. I keep getting flashing windows: on phone (trust the laptop?), & laptop's window (preparing to download photos). I'd like to properly eject the cord, but my go-to's of using the sidebar, or double clicking on the desktop, are not options (since the phone is not showing up in either - perhaps it isn't really connected?)

iPhone XR, iOS 16

+1 As Barney-15E stated just unplug. It does not act like a normal drive that has to be ejected by process.
