AirPods Pro wrong name.

I have a pair of AirPods Pro. The name of the headphones keeps changing from what I have named them.

I’ve reset them, let them go completely flat, I’ve reset the network settings but none of these have helped. It doesn’t matter if I change the name. Each time I have reset them and then pair them with my iPad and my IPhone, they show up as CFJ’s AirPods Max.

they should show up as either AirPods Pro or John’s AirPods Pro.

why would they keep reverting the device name to CFJ’s AirPods Pro?
