How do I retrieve deleted messages from contacts I haven’t texted lately?

Requirements:
Your device must run iOS 16 or later version, and you must have deleted those messages using that iOS version.

Unfortunately, an iPhone 7 or 7+ cannot support iOS 16 or later version.
