My Apple Watch battery life has reduced significantly since updatation to iOS 10

My watch is down to 30% by 5pm without changing my usage habits. If I go for a short walk or run, the battery is dead after 30-40 minutes. How do I go back to the old iOS?

Hello stemit,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand you're having issues with the battery life of your watch after updating. While there isn't a way to revert back to an older version of watchOS, we can help with information about the battery of your watch here: Apple Watch Battery and Performance - Apple Support

"“Battery life” is the amount of time a device runs before it needs to be recharged. “Battery lifespan” is the amount of time a battery lasts until it is no longer useful. One factor affecting battery life and lifespan is the mix of things you do with your device. No matter how you use it, there are ways to help extend your device’s battery lifespan. A battery’s lifespan is related to its “chemical age,” which is more than just the passage of time. It includes different factors, such as the number of charge cycles and how it was cared for. Follow these tips to maximize battery performance and help extend battery lifespan."

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
