How do I disable the infrared at night on my watch face

On the prior version of software we rotated the crown to go to infrared. Now it’s a default and I can’t get rid of it. Is there a way to,disable this

Hello Dan7777,

Indeed, since watchOS 10, you can no longer activate or deactivate Night Mode using the Digital Crown.

You now need to edit the watch face to activate or deactivate it. You can also set it to Auto so that the ambient light detector of the Apple Watch Ultra switches automatically.

On your Apple Watch, long-press the screen , tap Edit, swipe left until you see “NIGHT MODE” and use the Digital Crown to activate or deactivate or to set it to Auto.
