Why is my google calendar black?

As I suggested above, delete the Google Calendar app and add it back. But, if Google needs to update it their app, you'll just have to wait.

Are you talking about the Google Calendar app? If so, try deleting it and re-installing it.

Had to delete and restore five times in the last two weeks, it’s driving me nuts. My work calendar is on Google I’m gonna have to change my calendar app because it’s just so unreliable lately
