iOS 17 Stickers missing from iMessage. They did not re-populate as I had read they would with this upgrade. I had to find and reinstall them from my App Store Purchases, but some paid favorites are missing. How do I get those back? Would I be able to retrieve them from iPhone backups? Please help. Thank you.

The stickers I created of me as an avatar are not anywhere.
I WANT MY PAID FOR STICKERS!! Stop fixing things that are not broken!! The biggest Apple complaint?? Upgrades that ruin more than they fix! Totally frustrating!
I have the same issue on my iPhone 15 Pro Max. Over the years I’ve purchased lots of stickers and emojis and they are not showing up on my phone. No matter what I do and even the information on YouTube is not helpful. I want my stickers I purchased them I can’t believe Apple lets things pass and doesn’t really check every algorithm
Not only have my husband’s stickers - sentimental ones he created - disappeared from his iPhone 15 Pro Max, but he can’t make new ones. I watched him create one of him playing guitar, it showed under the Stickers icon in the stickers tabs - and in a second it disappeared. We both saw it happen.
We both updated to 17.4.1 and mine seems ok, but he’s lost his stickers. I have lost paid stickers in previous upgrades - but losing a sticker you just created seems extremely weird behavior. Fix this, Apple.
Can you provide more info? Where do I look? I can’t figure it out.
Folks, they aren't missing, AA simply moved their location. Frustrating that I had to hunt and seek them out, but they are in fact still available BENEATH the "Stickers" section of Messages. They used to have their very own icon and placement, now they are tucked away under "Stickers" icon.

Is there a solution for this? All I hear is the same frustrations as me. I realized it was moved but the Memojis are not displaying. Other stickers don’t even show up in the recent panel anymore.
One person suggested disabling iMessage, followed by signing out of iCloud. Hard reboot. Sign back into iCloud then turn on iMessage. This worked--for a couple hours and now they're gone again.
This is clearly some problem with iPhone that needs fixing.
I went through this process again and it worked--except that the stickers I created and all my emojis are gone. The purchased stickers are there,
But I'm not going to do this every few hours and have what I've created disappear for good.
I've talked to two "Geniuses" in person and one on the phone. Three different answers. Let's get this handled in an emergency software update. Not acceptable Apple.
This happened before when Memojis/Stickers did not work!!!
Again- on a totally different phone! the “Stickers” aka Memojis are definitely an ongoing issue! One day they were all there ready to go- now there are like three different versions of iPhones past!!

No iPhone genius here- but hope this helps/works. Open a new message window- click on plus sign. Click on Stickers. Look at the icons on top. Look for the one that has a FACE w/hearts eyes & multiple “faces” behind it. Mine is second icon from my right. Click on that icon & you will find your Memojis &/or ability to create/Edit what’s there. Also there should be Stickers.
i got my new iphone 15PM in january, after making a lot of stickers on my 14PM. My new phone started w ios17 and it never was able to make stickers or see/use my old ones. I waited for months for things to self-resolve via updates and finally reached out to apple about a month ago while using ios 17.41. My case was escalated, they seemed to take it seriously. The ultimate response was that they now had plenty of data to fix it, thanks to me apparently, but i would have to wait for the next update. It sounded like blowing smoke to me and i said as much, but nothing to do but wait. After all, they now have ample data. Today 5/24 i got update 17.51 and still unfortunately the issue is not fixed for me. I did reach out to my case worker but at this point i just think apple is not sure what to do or how to fix it. Or maybe they just don’t want to for some reason? I cannot tell. For sure i am bummed to get this new feature only to lose it, so i created my new apple community username and made this post.
Exactly. I’m missing ton of paid stickers since 2017. Apple: “QUIT FIXING, WHAT IS NOT BROKEN.”
Apple advised me not to log out and in with iCloud as it causes other problems, as it did for me, but to contact support should it occur again.
