Call blocking not working in IOS 17

If you haven't already, ensure that your iPhone is fully updated and then check for a carrier update. If an update is needed, back up first:

Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Manually update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Then double-check the phone number/contact appears on the blocked list. Those steps can be found in the section "Manage your blocked phone numbers, contacts, and emails" here: Block phone numbers, contacts, and emails on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

There isn’t a suggestion in the world which has worked, I’m going to stop trying the various & sundry tricks you Apple people are tossing out there.

We are sick and TIRED of not being able to chase away the nefarious callers purporting to help us stop losing referrals through Google Business until our listings are updated. I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I NEVER HAVE HAD A BUSINESS, so there’s no excuse for them calling me. But you won’t let me block them, so we have to go through this iteration after iteration!!!!

it is high time that an easily accessible Apple corporate response with a drop-dead date by when you will have it fixed!!!!!

This is happening to me. Using iphone 12 on latest software. Suggested fix does not work. Very annoying.
