I cannot quit itunes

The drop down is greyed out when i click to quit and i cant force quit either

iMac 27″, macOS 10.12

Hi benita26,

Since the option to force quit is greyed out, you can also try Control-Option and click the unresponsive app in the Dock. Then select Force Quit from the pop-up menu. You can also open your Activity Monitor, select the unresponsive app and choose View > Quit Process, then Force Quit.
