Ipad battery issue after the warranty expired

Hi, Quick questions if anyone can help. I bought an iPad Pro 5th Gen it's out of warranty however the battery has expended and I can see all the inside with no damage to any external parts I am just wondering if Apple will be able to help me do any kind of a repair as surely this shouldn't be happening to this kind of expensive device?
