Closing Apps After Update

How do you close apps after latest update. Used to be able to swipe left.

Open apps on Apple Watch also describes how to close apps:

"Remove an app from the App Switcher

Double-click the Digital Crown, then turn the Digital Crown to the app you want to remove. Swipe left on the app, then tap X."
