I can't connect my bluetooth speaker

I just got a new Macbook Air and I now can't connect to my Ultimate Ears Wonderboom bluetooth speakers. It doesn't show up and the bluetooth connection just spools.

MacBook Air (M2, 2023)

Glad to help.

(A lot of folks forget that the Bluetooth device needs to be in pairing mode in order for the Mac to see it and pair with it).
