Abbott libre app incompatibility with apple iOS greater than 16

The solution offered is nonsense. The maximum compatibility listed by Abbott is 16 with no decimal point specifying the specific limit such as the previously listed 15.0. Deleting and reinstalling the app along with rebooting the phone will not fix the problem. Previous posts have noted failure as far back as 16.1.1. Mine failed two days after updating to 16.6.3. The only solution until Abbott gains a conscience and ask responsibly to the untold Numbers of diabetics dependent upon their monitor is to purchase their reader which is very primitive but will do the minimum job.
