Ever since updating to IOS17,
whenever I try to scale my wallpapers to fit the screen the top of the screen gets blurry and ruins the wallpaper. I truly believe this is a software issue and hope Apple can fix this or simply give us the option to have it blurred vs not.

If you tried everything in the article link I provided, I'm afraid I don't have more suggestions, other than to contact Apple Support for help. If you have an Apple Store near you, you could schedule an appointment at the Genius Bar. But don't even try to do that tomorrow. Apple Stores throughout the world will be delivering new iPhone 15 models to people who preordered them and the Apple Store will be virtually impossible to get any help then.
here is all that shows up for me.
I’m on an XR and no option for depth effect appears on my screen when customizing my wallpaper.
According to that link the layered effect is available for an iPhone Xr.
What happens when you tap the little circle with the three dots?
That is all that shows up when I tap that.
