iPhone 14 bottom speaker’s quality decreased after dropping

Hello! Yesterday, I dropped my new iPhone 14 from around a foot and a half height into the bathroom sink, with the bottom part being the first to hit the surface. As far as I am concerned, no water seeped into the speaker. However, after the incident, I noticed that the sound from the bottom speaker has a slightly higher pitch and is of poor quality compared to the same sound from other devices, like how an old and overused headphone sounds. Is it possible that the drop damaged the bottom speaker or my mind is just playing tricks on me?
