Flir One G3 lightning to usbc adapter

I just bought the apple lightning to usb c adapter and hooked it up to my flir one pro and it works just fine. Thats a relief i was going to be really bummed out if it didnt.

I tried it yesterday. IPhone 15 Pro Max with Flir One Pro and it did not want to work. Very saddened.

It's a bit of a pricey solution but the genuine Apple adaptor and my Mous case with IntraLock attached Flir One does the trick.

I have to admit I am still looking more toward the FLIR One Edge which is explicitly noted as compatible with iPhone 15 and uses a wireless connection. I was waiting for the iPhone 15 to launch and see what FLIR offered for compatibility before making my decisions.

How are you guys actually holding and using this thing now? With the Apple adapter cable I find it really difficult to use now, especially with one hand. It’s a shame I don’t know what to do with this thing now and it’s not cheap enough to just replace.

Agreed. I just got the dongle and it works but it's very hard to use accurately. It used to be easy because you could with one hand move the phone and then your other hand was free but now you need two hands.

They sell MagSafe stickers that may be worth trying. You would stick these on the Flir camera and hope the adapter cable is long enough for camera to stick magnetically on magnet. Would that distance from lens cause any issues?

other option is to buy a cheap phone case and use double sided tape to attach flir toward lower portion of case.

Duct tape. It solves everything.
