Apple TV - ARC to a Bluetooth speaker

Is the ARC function exclusive to HomePods ? Could I use ARC to send sound from my PS5 through the Apple TV to my non-Apple Bluetooth speaker (Beolit 17).

I found one thread about it, but I’m not convinced yet.

My tv is old and my speaker is old. But they work fine, so I don’t want to buy new things just for this. A new Apple TV at most (my current Apple TV is old too).

My tv supports ARC.

A bit on context;

I have the older Apple TV 4K without support for ARC.

I use a Beolit 17 as my tv speaker (connected via Bluetooth to the Apple TV).

When I use my PS5 i have to switch the speaker to cable and control the volume over my phone. It bugs me no end.

All I need is a yes or no 😄

Apple does not specify clearly about non-Apple devices when it comes to pairing.
