What am I looking for in my activity monitor that would be suspicious? None of these process names mean anything to me. I’m not looking for recommendations for apps like Malwarebytes. I just need some pointers on what to look out for.
Earlier Mac models
It would be difficult to impossible to describe what might be suspicious or to enumerate all the cryptically named, required Apple processes, but it you were to post a screenshot of AM it might help others identify known bad actors.

nothing written there will make much sense to the average user, it's mostly info for developers and apples analysts
