Greetings allyxxx,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities, it's great to have you here.

This article here has the latest versions of the firmware for each model of AirPods: About firmware updates for AirPods - Apple Support

To update your AirPods firmware:

  1. Make sure that your AirPods are in Bluetooth range to your iPhone and that your iPhone has an active Wi-Fi connection.
  2. Pop your AirPods in and listen to music or any other audio for 30 seconds before putting your AirPods back in the charging case and closing the lid.
  3. Connect the charging case to power and wait 30 minutes for the firmware to update.

After that, reconnect them to the device you were using them with and check the firmware version again.

We hope this information is helpful!

Have a great day.
