Datos del Sistema (?) ocupa mas de la mitad de macistosh HD

Hola, les hago una consulta, que son exactamente los "Datos del Sistema"?

Tengo un macbook pro M2 nuevo con disco de 512GB y prácticamente no puedo trabajar porque se generaron unos archivos "core" que se ven como "Datos del Sistema" en la vista de Almacenamiento del disco ocupando 260GB de ese mismo disco. Se pueden borrar? Como se borran? que son? Les paso captura de pantalla.

Por favor, si pueden darme solución se los agradeceré.
