Charging the new Macbook Air M2 15 inch with USB C or Magsafe

I accidentally plugged in my USB C power from Macbook Air M1 to my Macbook Air M2 15 inch. (Force of habit)

I found out that the macbook air 15 WILL charge with USB C!

I'm using 65W Anker

MacBook Air 15″, macOS 13.5

Correct. Mac's with Magsafe and USB-C ports will charge either way.

The USB-C ports will be slower than the Magsafe connection though.

No damage or issue should be caused by doing this.
