I was able to reset password on Phone and IPad but nor Mac ??

I haven’t used my MAC desktop in awhile - I forget the password. I have reset the password on phone and iPad but when I try to sign into Mac,

seeing the Reset Password type in Apple ID but can’t reset password without having a password that works
