Keyboard always lagging - more details below

I've had ios 15, 16, and now 17, I use 2 keyboards, they are different languages. One is in English and the other one is in Vietnamese- predictive text is off. This has always been a problem where the keyboard lags when I have 2 keyboards as different languages.

When I type in English it will lag, however if I remove the Vietnamese keyboard, there is no lag. Vice versa. It doesn't matter what iOS it is but this will always happen if there is 2 languages on the iPhone.

I'm trying to find a fix for lag and keep 2 languages on it.

-Yes I have reset the keyboard and done every troubleshooting known to man, if it was solvable I wouldn't be here! I have seen 2 other posts with this same issue as well with no solution to either of them.

I added a third language and the lag went away. The only problem is that the autocorrect doesn’t work with more than 2 languages, so now you have to change to the other keyboard when you’re typing in a different language.

Try adding a 3rd language, like French or whatever, and let us know if there is any change in behavior.

Also tell us which of the 3 types of Vietnamese keyboard you are using, and whether behavior is any different when you use one of the other ones.

This finally seems to have fixed this problem for me, thank you so much. I guess the problem comes from the phone trying to autocorrect in two languages but when there are three it doesn’t try. Really there should just be an option for “don’t try to autocorrect in two languages at the same time” if it’s apparently so difficult to do.
