Missing photos from iCloud

I transferred my files from my old iPhone to a new iPhone using my iCloud back up. But I noticed that not all photos were transferred. How can I recover those missing photos when I already don't have access on my old iPhone (I reset it)?

Recover photos from data transfer in iCloud Hi. Last summer I took lots of photos on holiday using my iphone X. I purchased an iphone 13 in September, but none of the data transfer options worked sadly, so I just gave up and started fresh with the new phone. (I tried proximity, hooking up to mac, etc) When I reset the old iphone to resell it, I was given the option to save phone data in to the cloud to transfer it to a new phone, but by that stage the new phone had been in operation for a while and personalised. My question: how to extract the photos that were saved from the old phone during the reset? Where is that backup? How do I access it? How do I extract the photos from it? Thanks, Mark
