Iphone 11 photos all have a fuzzy "glow"

I don't know why this is happening, but my iPhone 11 photos all seem to have a fuzzy, glowing aura in them, regardless of the subject. I've tried cleaning the lens, reducing the exposure & changing the HDR. I've attached a photo taken with my iPhone and a second photo taken with my mom's Samsung just moments later. Same time of day, same setting, same subject. So why does my iPhone photo have this fuzzy glowing thing going on and how do I fix it?

It was a waterproof case, so it did have clear plastic over the camera. My photos were fine when I first put the case on. So I think maybe it came in contact with some nail polish remover or some other chemical that damaged the plastic, because cleaning it didn't help. But the camera has been working fine since I put the new case on. Thanks so much for your assistance.

I wouldn't think a case would affect the photos taken by the camera unless the case has a cover over the camera lens or reflects light into the lens. However, it is worthwhile to try again without the case to eliminate the possibility.

You might look back and see if you can tell if the problem started as soon as you got your current phone. That would be three to four years ago, if you bought it when it was the current new model.

Do you have an Apple Store nearby that could take a look at it for possible physical damage?

I don't know. I just recently noticed the problem. I don't take a lot of photos, so it'd been a long while. I used my iPad to take photos today and they looked amazing! So I'm thinking it might have something to do with the phone case. I've ordered a new one and will try the camera with no case and then with the new case to see if that makes any difference. Otherwise, maybe I accidentally changed some settings I didn't know about. The really good photos I've taken in the past were with my old phone, before this one. So maybe it's just this phone or this OS. Any advice or things I can try would be greatly appreciated.
