Upgrading iCloud+ Storage Plan

Hi,

I am currently subscribed to the iCloud+ 50GB monthly plan and my billing date is the 1st of each month. If I upgrade the storage plan to 200GB, would I be charged on a pro-rata basis until the next billing cycle or will be charged immediately?

You'll be charged for the 200GB plan minus a proportional amount of what you spent on the current cycle for the 50GB immediately.
