How can i downgrade from 10 to 9. My watch is no fun to use due to energy problems

installed 10 yesterday. Before one charge lasted 40 to 48 hours. Now less than 20.

This is normal for a day or two after a major version upgrade. The first steps to load the new version are only a small part of the task. After your device is returned with new software loaded there are many hidden background tasks like cleaning the old software files, and reindexing all the storage. These will increase battery load but it is only temporary. I would expect your Apple Watch should be back at normal behavior and battery life sometime over the weekend.
