I have a 1st generation iPad Air, was released by Apple on 11/1/2013. I'm trying to purchase a Fintie leather case for it's size of: H=9.4", W=6.67". I purchased cases from Amazon on 3 occasions, but they all didn't fit ... too large. Appreciate the assistance.

The measurement Apple quotes of 9.7” is for the diagonal measurement of the viewable portion of the screen. Yes, the physical dimensions are indeed:
Weight and Dimensions 1 lbs., 9.4 H x 6.6 W x 0.29 D inches
Hello ~ Try looking on Amazon adding your model number. I was able to find several.

Amazon's say generation 1, model A1474, but are 9.7", too large, mine is 9.4". I have contacted the manufacturer Fintie for their input. Thanks,
