volume gone ???

I have been editing multiple projects in Final Cut Pro with no issues.

Today I opened a video pushed play and there was no volume. My db appears to be on, but there is no volume. How can I troubleshoot the issue?

Cannot hear audio clips in Final Cut Pro I was editing my video when suddenly, some audio clips did not have any audio. The waveforms disappeared and I cannot hear some of these audio clips. Here is everything that I have tried doing without any success I have checked the volume and my speakers and they are all working fine. I restarted Final Cut Pro multiple times. I have turned on and off the reference waveforms to see if that makes any difference. This has happened to me a few times already but I'm not sure how I managed to fix it back then. I can't recall what was the last thing I did before this happened but I would appreciate any help or advice. Thanks.

Audio and volume issues after FCP update Has anyone else had audio issues with their Final Cut projects after the update? I have had to redo the audio on several FCP projects that were almost finalized with my clients! Some interviews have super low volume, so I have to delete all of the audio effects and redo everything. I think it's because they updated their Limiter and some other effects. So annoying and it's actually costing me money with jobs because I'm having to redo everything. I think I've had just about enough of FCPX at this point and ready to switch to Premiere or Davinci.

Can you hear anything on the Mac, like playing QuickTime movie or a YouTube video?

If so, can you hear any clips played from the FCP browser (not the timeline)?

Did you accidentally press Option + S and toggle on the track Solo function?

Volume works on the computer i.e. youtube and quicktime

When I play projects there is no volume.
