Watch OS 10 timer has taken over my watch

I upgraded this evening, and now have a tiny complication at the top on my face, and the first widget is timer. I don’t want this mini complication, nor widget. Is there any way to remove this? I even tried uninstalling the app, and it’s still there. Can I downgrade back to OS 9?

I'm having the same problem. I don't have any active timers, but the pulsing orange timer continues on top of my watch. Seems like a glitch.

This is driving me nuts. I rarely use the timer app, but my watch will suddenly start vibrating and tell me the 1hr timer is complete...I never even set it!!

I'll clear any set timers (sometimes there are multiple that I did not set), and then it'll happen again.

Just more Apple glitches. I swear nothing has worked properly since after the great man passed!
