Recovery Key Verification Failed After Updating to iOS 17
Put in correct recovery key but keep getting messages incorrect key. Why is it asking for my recovery key anyway?
I just had this same issue. I had the recovery key entered 100% correctly in my password manager, as verified by an encrypted screen shot I kept when I originally created the recovery key a couple years ago. I tried entering it 3 times and kept getting a message that "Verification Failed". I had to create a new recovery key and verify with that. Now I'm a little worried that this new recovery key may not work for verification in the future, or worse, if I need it to regain access to my account.
