I've done all the things that I've seen in this discussion community - I have hit or clicked on everything that I see. I have the "period after two spaces" toggled off. I can't find anything to help fix this very aggravating problem. For a long while, it was putting a period after almost every word I typed. Now it's putting two spaces. Driving me crazy!

The current stable release of Ventura including bug fixes, security updates is macOS Ventura 13.6—I would start there.
