Lack of Apple Watch SE2 Native Keyboard Support

I see no reason why the Apple Watch SE2 cannot support a QWERTY keyboard. The processor is the same as the Apple Watch 8, and the screen dimensions are larger than the 40mm Apple Watch 8 which supports a keyboard; there are no restrictions as far as CPU speed or display as far as I can see. Software-wise, it runs the same OS, currently 10, as even the brand new Apple Watch 9 without any problems, so it is not due to the SE2 not being able to support the software needed. I'm stumped. Can anybody give me a rational explanation why there is no keyboard with the SE2? You can buy a keyboard which works, so why not just include one?
