iOS bug: Plain-Text files by default opened by any other apps.

They are by default opened by any other note-taking app you have installed, like Runestone or Notion or Evernote, when opened in the native Files app. I want to view these files normally in the Files app without them opening in any note-taking app. Neither closing the note-taking app nor reinstalling it fixes it. In fact, after deleting those note-taking apps, the option to open a file inside them is still visible on the UI in the file-viewer when viewing a file in the Files app.

Hey Galen_Burnett,

The Files app on your iPad is a storage location, and it functions similar to Finder or File Explorer on a computer. It stores your files and offers limited modifications for some file types directly from within the Files app. If you're unable to peek at a file saved in Files it's likely because the file type is not supported.
