I transferred a folder from my mac into my iPhone. I can't find a single way to delete those photos. I want to delete selected photos from that particular folder, can anyone help?

I transferred a folder from my mac into my iPhone. I can't find a single way to delete those photos. I want to delete selected photos from that particular folder, can anyone help?

If you synced photos from a Mac to an iPhone, you can delete those photos by syncing again but with a different selection of photos. Each time you sync, the synced photos are set to the current selection.

If you don't want the synced photos on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch anymore, turn off syncing in the Finder and they'll be removed from your device. You can turn off syncing for some of your photo albums or all of them at once.
Note that the instructions are for Macs running macOS Catalina 10.5 or later but are very similar for older macOS versions that use iTunes.

It is not possible at all to delete selected photos from your iPhone directly the iPhone, if the photos have been synced from from a computer with iTunes or using the Finder.Syncing the photos again as described by FoxFifth is the only way. Synced photos are managed differently from the photos that that have been saved to Photos on your iPhone.
