To update your iPhone head to the Settings app and go to General > Software Update > Download and Install. Then enter the passcode that you use to unlock your iPhone. Finally, tap Agree and wait for your iPhone to update and restart.
Since the error is present on an iPhone 7 the latest iOS you can update to will be iOS 15.
