My 2013 Lexus RX430 hands free speaker crackles during operation with my iPhone, but not with my husband's iPhone. Caller does not hear the noise. My iPhone does not produce crackling when used with my husbands 2017 Lexus RX430 hands free system. Is my problem my iPhone or my Lexus? How can I test this?

Based on what you've told us you've done a great job of narrowing this down already. If the issue only happens with your iPhone while its connect toy our car, and it doesnt happen in other cars with your iPhone, it points to the vehicle being the cause of the issue.
You can do some basic troubleshooting to try to resolve the issue.
1) Make sure your iPhone is up to date. Update iOS on iPhone - Apple Support
2) Remove the car and your iPhone from each one in settings and try to connect them again. Pair a third-party Bluetooth accessory with your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
If the issue continues, we recommend reaching out to the car manufacturer for more help.

As the Bluetooth audio performance is not stable, check for any interferences as seen in Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference.
If it continues, as it is isolated to just your device, contact Apple Support for assistance Get Support

Respectfully, I did mention my husband's iPhone does not present with this problem when paired with my car. So I am still in the dark. I updated to most recent iOS and still have the problem.
