How to fix duplicated app notifications after iOS 17.0.1 Update on iPhone

iPhone 13 Pro, ios 17.3.1

Same problem for me.

Double notification for bank transactions and for credit card transactions.

Other notifications are regular.

Have already tried the settings, turnin on and off notifications for the bank app and wallet and have tried rebooting. Still same problem.

But it’s been happening since iOS 17.0.0. It occurs with Twitter, McDonald’s, bank apps, and Telegram and many more.

The notification is the same, but there’s just a split-second delay.

I find it strange that there are so few people experiencing this problem and reporting it.

I’m dealing with this too and it’s driving me crazy. I get 2-4 duplicates per notification for certain apps. I already get too many notifications so I’ve been trying to reduce that, and these duplicate notifications just add to that 🤦🏽‍♀️. My Notification Center and Lock Screen get so congested…I end up missing important notifications that get lost because I don’t see them in the list of 100 notifications. I hope Apple fixes soon.

It’s now March - 6 months of multiple alerts and no solution. I called Apple Support and they said it is a known problem and it will be fixed eventually. This is driving me crazy. I tried a full reset and it didn’t resolve. Please fix this Apple! I know it’s only a small group of customers but I’ve certainly had enough! Apple all the way but I have my limits

Today is June 3rd and I'm still receiving multiple notifications for various apps. I have Ring Doorbell app installed, and it goes off 2 times EVERY time the camera is triggered. I'm also receiving multiples from TimeHop and The Weather Channel to name a few. Please correct this @ATT - users are being inundated with so many alerts, we're missing the important ones because our Notification Center is overwhelmed.

Have this same issue. Just started happening in the most recent update 17.5.1. Hasnt happened before, ever. Hopefully an update soon can fix this. I turned off the repeat notification setting, hoping an update comes asap to fix this. Thanks - June 5th, 24 -

I am having the same problem, iPhone 12, iOS 17.2.1. Is there a fix? Will erasing and restoring fix it?

Native Calendar app is my worst offender.

Still persists in iOS 17.3.1. Apple does not seem inclined to ever fix this.

I’m having the same problem with one of my apps. It’s been going on for a few weeks now. iPhone 12 17.3.1

I agree and we have gone through at least three updates since the problem started.... crazy!

Iphone 14 just started receiving double txts and emails !!! Is there a way to resolve this?

Still a problem in 17.5.1 on iPhone 13. Just all of a sudden, I’ve started getting triple notifications on text messages. I have the notifications customization set to never repeat.
