In general, see: Set up single sign-on with your TV provider on Apple TV - Apple Support

This is for use with separate channels apps, such as ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, etc.

➔ However, Spectrum is the exception here, as they use zero sign-on, i.e. supporting authentication from your internet connection alone. With Spectrum internet, you are automatically signed in for the TV provider, when applicable. No need to enter it.

Spectrum also provides the Spectrum TV app, which includes all of the channels included in your TV provider package within a single app. Not sure if they pre-install that on boxes that they provide. Else find this app in the on-device App Store. Find apps in the Apple TV App Store - Apple Support

The setup of Wi-Fi (connecting the Apple TV box to your router by Wi-Fi) should be one of the initial setup questions. For changing that at a later time, go to Settings﹥Network﹥[ᴄᴏɴɴᴇᴄᴛɪᴏɴ] Wi-Fi﹥… and select the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) for your own home network. Enter the network password when prompted.
