VHS Video Capture USB to Work with Thunderbolt input on Macbook Pro M2

I have been told that the elgato Video Capture device is phenomenal. It's supposed to work with MacBooks (air & pro), but I am about to purchase a MacBook Pro that only has a Thunderbolt input, where the elgato has a USB output.

Is there any adapter that takes a male USB output and converts it to a Thunderbolt input on the M2 MacBook Pro/Air computers?

(or a reasonably priced video capture device that will work with an analog out to a Thunderbolt input)
